Owl-O-Ween

Meigs Point Nature Center, Hammonasset Beach State Park · Madison

An evening Halloween nature program with close-up visits from live owls, opossums and snakes brought by A Place Called Hope, Freedom First Wildlife Rehab and Farm River Wildlife. There are also crafts, owl facts, face painting, henna and glitter tattoos.

• Fri, Oct 306–8 p.m. (Early Bird session 6–7, Night Owl session 7–8)
  The organizer says the Night Owl session is less crowded.

Free; suggested donation $5 per person

No registration required. Costumes welcome. Proceeds support Connecticut wildlife rehabilitators.
